Ingredients:

  • 2 Ripe Bananas

  • ¼ Cup Natural Peanut Butter

  • ½ Cup Vanilla Protein Powder

  • ¼ Cup Chopped Nuts (Almonds, Walnuts, or Pecans)

  • 2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Shredded Coconut (Optional)

  • Dark Choc Chips for Drizzling (Optional)

 

Instructions:

  • Peel the bananas and cut them into 2-cm-thick slices.

  • Spread a thin layer of peanut butter onto half of the banana slices.

  • Sprinkle the chopped nuts and shredded coconut (if using) onto the peanut butter-covered banana slices.

  • Place the remaining banana slices on top to create little sandwiches.

  • In a shallow dish, pour the protein powder.

  • Gently roll each banana bite in the protein powder until coated on all sides.

  • Place the coated banana bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • If desired, melt some dark chocolate chips and drizzle over the banana bites for an extra decadent touch.

  • Place the backing sheet in the freezer for at least 1 hour to allow the bites to firm up.

  • Once frozen, move the bites in an airtight container and store them in the freezer until ready to enjoy.
