Smoothies are popular for breakfast, but many don't have enough calories or nutrients to be considered a complete meal. This creamy berry smoothie has the perfect balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat, and will keep you satisfied until your next meal.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen mixed berries
¾ cup water
½ cup low-fat plain Greek yogurt
1 banana
¼ avocado
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
1 scoop vanilla protein
Preparation
Step 1
Combine berries, water, yogurt, banana, avocado, walnuts and protein in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth. If necessary, add more water to reach desired consistency.
